KEY BASKETBALL MATCH TODAY
One of the key matches in the Canterbury Basketball Association’s competitions will be played this morning. This is between West Old Girls and Sacred Heart.
West Old Girls at present lead Sacred Heart and Technical by four points and are well placed to win the senior championship. Their success has been based largely on the accurate shooting of the forwards, J. Edwards, J Irvine and P. Telfer. However the Sacred Heart forwards, J. Murray, A. Clark and P. Gallagher, have shown good form in their last three games and may find a way to break West Old Girls’ unbeaten record this season.
