Spreading of Manures.—A Hawar-den-Waikari remit calling for the conference of the North Canterbury district of Federated Farmers to ask the transport committee to investigate and fix a rate a hundredweight or an acre for the spreading of superphosphate or other artificial manure by motor transport was yesterday referred by the conference to the executive.
