SEVENTH ROUND OF CLUB MATCHES
The seventh round of the inter-dub billiards competition was played thia week. It concluded the first half of the A and D grade sections. The highlight! were the fine breaks of 73 (unfinished) by O’Callaghan (R.S.A.), 64 by D. Mann, of the St. Albans Recreation B team, and Yesberg (R.) 63. In fche A grade, because of a three-point win against Richmond 11. Richmond I has gone into the lead, closely followed by P. and T. Results were:—
A Grade.—A.A.C. (Whitford 200 (51). Kelly 180, Johnson 200 ( 31) beat R.S.A. II (Franks 117. Geddes 200, Quintell 117); R.S.A. I (O’Callaghan 200 (73 unfinished, 34, 33), Elkis 174, Collie 200) beat W.M.C, (Choat 138, Watson 200 (45). Sutherland 192 (39); Richmond I (Yesberg 200 (63), Cormack 200 (37), Murphy 200) beat Richmond II (Archer 117, Cook 146 ( 36), Messer vey 173 (35); P. and T.. a bye.
