WELLINGTON TEAM CHOSEN
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 7. The Wellington team announced today to play Taranaki at Hawera on Wednesday is generally expected to be that which will be fielded against the South Africans.
The team is:— N. N. Nicholls; R. A. Jarden, J. T. Fitzgerald, T. Katene; J. D. P. Taitoko, J G Dougan; A. J. Makeham; L. A. Clark; W H. Clark, I. N. Mac Ewan, D. G. Harker. D. N. Mclntosh; I. M. H. Vodanovich, J K. Sage J. B. S. Hutchinson. Reserves T. Reynolds, M. Bevan, M. J. Palmer, I P. Puketapu. The selectors have named as a squad to train for the match against the Springboks the team chosen for the Taranaki match and the following: I. W. Tarpies. W. G. Dick, S. W Carew. G. Harris, B. T. Frederikson, N. A. Langdon, and J Johnstone.
