SUMNER CLUB Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Sumner Croquet Club were:— Patron. Mr T. F. Chambers: president, Mrs A. Halliday; vice-presidents, Mrs C. Claydon and Miss M. Wood; secretary, Mrs R. C. Holcroft; treasurer, Mrs A. W. Boyce; captain. Mrs K. A. Brooke: vice-captain, Mrs G. A. Webb; committee, Mesdames K. Gale, A. K. Brake, J. Cradddck, H. Finlayson, and Miss E. Weastell; green supervisor, Mr G. A. Webb: auditor, Mr R. Gale; delegate to centre, Mr G. A. Webb. Trophies won during the season were presented as follows: Senior championship. Mrs F. E. Carter: open handicap, Mrs W. Phillips; junior championship, Mrs G. A. Webb; junior handicap, Mrs G. A. Webb; handican doubles, Mrs A. W. Boyce and Mrs G. A. Webb; Brake trophy, Mrs H. Finlayson; novice -cup, Mrs J. Craddock; Saturday tournaments, senior, Mrs W. Phillips; junior, Mrs R. Gale.
