FLAG UPSIDE DOWN
Sir,—l have been anxiously -watching the news since the Queen’s Birthday for word of some calamity at the Public Hospital, where the Union Jack was flown upside down, which is a signal of distress. It would appear that it was a mistake. On any future occasion it would be a wise move to engage a tenderfoot scout to advise on the correct way to fly our national flag.—Yours, etc., • BOTTOMS UP. June 7. 1956.
