Dark-yolked Eggs.— Although it was correct that dark-yolked eggs had been down-graded last season, and this had given poultrvkeepers some ccncern, they had not lost grading because of unpopularity, said a statement by a spokesman for the CanterburyWestland Registered Poultrvkeepers’ Association yesterday. “It is the paleyolked eggs, not the dark, ones, which the public does not like,* he said.
