APPLICATIONS FOR DAVIS CUP SEATS (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 6. The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association’s management committee has received a large number of applications for seats for the challenge round of the Davis Cup to be played in Adelaide at the end of December. In the past the Australian association has always met New Zealand’s request for seat allocations, and a further request is to be made for this year’s contest.
