THE Board has decided on the following AMENDED POWER RESTRICTIONS, which will operate immediately: L POWER CUTS wiU be as to Hows: . EACH DAY: 11 p.m.-12 midnight. ALSO SATURDAY: 1.00 pjn.-4.00 p.m AND SUNDAY: 1.00 p.m.-4.00 p.m. 1. The use of DOMESTIC ELECTRIC WATER HEATERS is PROHIBITED where any alternative means ot heating water are available. Where no alternative means of water heating is installed electric water heating may be used each night from 10.00 p.m.-7.00 a.m. . S. ELECTRIC RADIATORS for CHURCH HEATING limited to ONE HOUR PER SERVICE, for HALL HEATING limited to 11 HOURS FOR EACH FUNCTION otherwise electric radiators are PROHIBITED except with the Board’s permission in case of hardship. 4. STREET LIGHTING will operate from 6.00 p.m.-9 00 p.m. 5. INSIDE SHOP AND COMMERCIAL LIGHTING to be used only when the shop or office is attended. •. OUTDOOR SPORTS GROUND LIGHTING is prohibited, and INDOOR SPORTS LIGHTING must be reduced by 50 per cent. 7. ELECTRIC ADVERTISING SIGNS are PROHIBITED.
