British (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 11 p.m.) MOSCOW, June 5. British-designed clothes for women are to be mass-produced in Russia, after a sucessful display by British models in Moscow, according to the Moscow Radio. The broadcast, beamed at North America, was by Olga Danilova, who added: “Lately I have been aware of the Indian and Chinese influence too.” Describing current Russian modes, she said they were mostly of a soft and graceful line, with emphasis on femininity. .“Shoulders are sloping, and the kimono sleeve and dropped sleeve are preferred.” Olga Danilova said. “Dress-and-jacket and \lress-and-coat ensembles are fashionable, and young women like such casual costumes as slacks with sweaters or jackets.” For men, Russian-style trousers are getting narrower and shorter.
