CROQUET
ST. JAMES’ PARK CLUB Mrs M. Burn and Mrs F. L. Drury were elected honorary life members at the annual meeting of the St. James’ Park Croquet Club.
The following officers were elected:— Patron, Miss L. Bobbitt; president, Miss M. Opie; vice-presidents, Mrs E. Todd and Mrs J. Higgins; secretary, Mrs F. L. Drury; treasurer and delegate to centre, Mrs E. Todd; committee, Mesdames W. Archbold, E. Broadley, H. Lattaway, J. O’Sullivan, C. Rowe, and R. Stuart; handicappers. Mesdames Lattaway, Stuart, and Todd; auditor, Mr J. Wallace.
Winners of club events were:—Beanland rose bowl, Mrs W. Kirk; Derrett cup, Mrs J. Read; Warren shield, Mrs J. Read; Reynolds shield, W. Archbold; Neave memorial cup (doubles), Mrs H. Lattaway and Mrs J. O’Sullivan; Saturday games, Mrs W. Joy and Mrs M. Burn.
