CHRIST’S COLLEGE OLD BOYS
NEW SECRETARY FOR ASSOCIATION
Mr C. A. Rattray, bursar of Cathedral Grammar School, hag been appointed secretary of the Christ’s College Old Boys’ Association. An old boy of the college, Mr Rattray holds several executive positions in Christchurch.
After attending Christ’s College from 1916 to 1923, he spent 12 years on the Army staff at Burnham, and later went to the Pacific islands with the Rarotonga Defence Force. He was appointed bursar of Cathedral Grammar School shortly after the Second World War. Mr Rattray is a vestryman of St. Mary’s Church, Merivale, chairman of the Elmwood School Parent-Teacher Association, and a member of the executive of the South Island Tuberculosis Association (Northern Group). He will retain the position of bursar at Cathedral Grammar School as well as the secretaryship of the Christ’s College Old Boys’ Association.
