BUILDING JOB CONFERENCE
REPRESENTATION OF COMPANY The managing director (Mr W. Williamson) and Mr R. P. Thompson will represent the Williamson Construction Company, Ltd., at the compulsory conference with representatives of the New Zealand Federation of Labour on the dispute at the company’s Civic Centre job at Auckland.
The conference, which was called by the Minister of Labour (Mr W. Sullivan) will be held in Wellington tomorrow.
Mr Williamson said last evening that he considered it might be useful if the conference was open to the newspapers This would enable the full facts of the dispute to be available to the public.
