(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) HONG KONG, June 3.
Doctor Roger Duff, Director of the Canterbury Museum, New Zealand, who has just concluded a one month tour of Communist China, said on arrival here today that Communist China’s achievement in archaeology was “superb.” Dr. Duff, a member of the New Zealand cultural delegation, began his China tour on April 24 at the invitation of the Chinese Peoples Association for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries. He said he was ‘‘impressed” by the Chinese museums he had seen in China and said they were run by “capable officials.” . . Dr. Duff said the two remaining members of his ten-man group were due to arrive here tomorrow.
