CYPRUS

Sir,—The terrorists in Cyprus are attacking both British and Cypriots alike. The same thing is happening in Algeria, and has also happened in East Africa. I suggest that the rioters concerned are mere thugs who are employed by the-power-behind-the-scenes to do away with all known future antagonists to the proposed totalitarian

regimes which undoubtedly will follow if these unfortunate countries areleft to their own devices. Sir Anthony Eden has noted the seemingly unreasonable slaughter in Cyprus, and if he is as strong as his position in dicates he will proceed with some in vestigation.s and action, but I suppost that is too much to expect from a government which is ham-strung bi the knives of international finance.Yours, etc..
