Mr Holland Host To Japanese Officials

TOKYO, June 2.

The Prime Minister of New Zealand (Mr S. G. Holland) today advanced his popularity and goodwill efforts during his visit to Japan in his informal meeting with the Japanese. At a reception held at the New Zealand Legation in Tokyo today. Mr Holland was the host to leading Japanese officials and businessmen, and the general atmosphere was one of friendship and goodwill. With three days of a week’s visit to Japan already spent in Tokyo, Mr Holland will leave the capital tomorrow for Osaka, Kobe, and Nagoya on an inspection of Japanese industry.
