HEAD-ON COLLISION BETWEEN CARS
When two cars collided head-on in Hills road, two break-down trucks had to be used to pull them apart. The occupants were treated at the Christchurch Hospital and sent home Mr Patrick Condon. of 55 Morrison avenue, was the driver of one car, and he and his seven-year-old son were injured. The only person injured in the other car was the driver, Mr Graham Reynolds. Both cars were extensively damaged.
