HOME FOR NURSING SISTERS
Sir,—As no reply regarding a home for Army sisters in this city has been received.' I can only conclude that there is no such institution here. Since writing that letter, I have read the press account of the luxurious new “Rannerdale” which has been built in Hansens lane for the men veterans. There is no mention of any accommodation there for the veteran Army sisters. As the Wellington branch of the Returned Services’ Association has provided the Lady Freyberg Home for sisters, may I ask. through this column, why nothing has been done in Christchurch.—Yours, etc., INTERESTED. May 7, 1956.
