VIEW OF INDIA’S NEUTRALITY
(N.Z. Press 'Association—Copyright) TAIPEH. May 4. The Philippines Ambasador to Nationalist China' (Mr Marcisso Ramos) said in Taipeh that India’s neutral policy is "a problem to the free world no less grave than Communism itself.” Speaking at a Rotary Club luncheon, he said that the neutral nations in Asia. led by India, did not seem to realise that they are still part of the free world. He said: “Uncommitted States, led by India, form a considerable and a decisively important part of Asia. They are the prize target in the struggle for the mind of Asia.” Mr Ramos, charging that neutral nations are no longer neutral, except in name, said: “They have generally aligned themselves on Russia's side, as in the case of repeated Communist attempts to oust Nationalist China from the United Nations.”
