RUGBY CLUB’S FINE RECORD.—Last year the High School Old Boys’ Rugby Club was as prominent in the administration of the sport as it was on the field. It finished first equal in the senior championship, and the senior fifteen’s captain, P. B. Vincent, led Canterbury in its successful defence of the Ranfurly Shield. Other members of the club who distinguished themselves were Messrs J. G. Rankin, a former Canterbury selector, who was a South Island selector last season: Mr N. J. McPhail, a Canterbury selector and coach, and Mr W. C. Dailey, who has ended his third year as president of the Canterbury Rugby Union. Another former member, Mr J.
