Woolston Library Extension

Additions will soon be made to the Woolston Public Library which will more than double the present accommodation. Tenders have been called for the work by the Christchurch City Council. The library’s committee has been hampered for several years by a lack of space in the very old building. Plans now are to extend the main landing room out into a yard at the back which is used by the City Council’s works department.
