Shed Damaged by Fire.— A fire in a detached shed at the rear of a State house at 25 Westcott street, Shirley, was extinguished by neighbours with garden hoses last night. Severe damage was done to the shed and its contents.. A unit from the central station of the Christchurch Fire Brigade and one from St. Albans attended the fire at 10.46 p.m. The occupier is Mr Douglas Green.
