OLYMPIC GAMES TRANSPORT
EXTRA FLIGHTS FROM NEW ZEALAND (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. March 4 Ten extra charter flights to take New Zealanders to the Olympic Games in Melbourne have been arranged by Tasman Airways. “This will accommodate all the people on our waiting list, and ’.eave room for several hundred besidea, a company spokesman said today. The aircraft are Super Constellations owned by Qantas Empire Airways. There will be 10 return trips before the Games begin and 10 more at the end.
In addition, the company is step* ping up its own services four times during the period. About 2500 extra passengers will be carried in these nights. The charter has not yet been colt’ plcted with Qantas, and until it isschedules cannot be arranged. The spokesman gave an assurance that j they would be as close as possible , to the start and finish of the Games-
