POLIOMYELITIS OUTBREAK
CASE FROM SCARGILL Another positive case of poliomyelitis was reported yesterday in the Canterbury health district, which extends from the Rakaia river to just north of the Clarence. The case is a man, aged 31, from Scargill. Forty-six positive cases have now been reported in the district since August 1 last year.
