Maori Trench
St. Kentigern College, up-to-date in grounds and buildings, has something old to preserve on the northern side of its property at Pakuranga, Auckland. An old Maori trench with an abutment on one side exists in a patch of gorse. Although small, this example of early defence works will be kept by the college as part of the establishment.
