TWO NEW CASES IN CHRISTCHURCH Two new positive cases of poliomyelitis. both from the city area, were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital yesterday. A suspected case, a child in Rangi-
ora, was also reported to the Department of Health yesterday. FIRST DEATH ON WEST COAST (From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH. Jan. 24. The first death from the presen* outbreak of poliomyelitis on the Wes* Coast occurred on Monday night. The victim was a boy from Cobden, aged three years and a half. There are now seven positive ra .^ e ” of poliomyelitis in the Grey Hospital ana two in the Westland Hospital.
