CHILD DROWNED IN STREAM
(New Zealand Press Association) . ROTORUA, January 24. A 10-months-old boy was drowned when he fell into the Utuhina stream near its mouth in Lake Rotorua, about 10 a.m. today. He was: Peter Ransfield Mau, the only child of Mr and Mrs B. R. Mau, who- live close to the stream. The boy was in the water for only two minutes before his mother found him. Artificial resuscitation was carried out for half an hour by Mrs F. Long, whose motor camp adjoins the Maus’ house. Dr. P. Tapsell was called immediately.
