Pressures are low south of the tryForecast:— Canterbury.—Moderate to fresh north-easterly winds predominating on the coasts and moderate north-west-erlies inland; weather fine, with warm day temperatures inland; mild on the coast. Marlborough.—Moderate to fresh north-westerly winds; weather fine; high day temperatures. Nelson and the West Coast.—Moderate to fresh south-westerly winds predominating/variable skies, with a few light showers, and moderate to mild temperatures on the West Coast; fine and warm in Nelson. Outlook.—A few showers on the West Coast, otherwise fair weather. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather in Christchurch yesterday was fine and sunny, with a light northeast wind. The maximum temperature was /2 degrees. At midnight, the sky was partly cloudy, and there was no wind. The temperature was 59.9 degrees.
