SOUTH NEW ZEALAND CONFERENCE

Pastor W. W. Petrie, of Christchurch, was unanimously elected president of the South New Zealand Conference of Seventh-day Adventists for a second annual term at the fortieth annual session and camp meeting of the conference at Chaneys. Other officers elected were: secre-tary-treasurer, Mr D. R. Eliot; home missions, sabbath school and public relations secretary, Mr M. G. Townend; youth and temperance secretary, Mr L. A. Lansdown; publishing department secretary, Mr G. T. Hedges: education department secretary, Pastor W. W. Petrie; assistant education department secretary, Miss M. Smart. The executive committee elected for 1956 is: ministry, Pastors W. W. Petrie (Christchurch), R. W. Howes (Dunedin), A. C. Ball (Christchurch), Mr D. R. Eliot (Christchurch); laity, Mr R. W.
