BOY DROWNED IN STREAM
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 22. Douglas O'Brien, aged 13, a son of Mr Richard O'Brien, of Ngatira, was drowned in the Oraka stream at 1.30 p.m. today. The boy was swimming with companions when he suddenly disappeared m a hole. The body was recovered by the boy’s father.
