Golfers Urged To Check Gambling
Professional golf players in the United States have been urged to do all in their power to check and destroy any gambling influences in golf. Speaking at the annual convention of the Professional Golfers’ Association cf America. Mr J. C. Day. jun.. executive director of the United States Golf Association, made this appeal because of “the prominence of gambling in golf and the scandals attached to it.”
