Foreign Secretary To Represent Britain
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 10 p.tn.) LONDON. January 6. Mr Selwyn Lloyd, the Foreign Secretary, will represent Britain at the second meeting of the council of the South-east Asia Collective Defence Treaty, it was announced by the Foreign Office in London last night. The Foreign Office statement said the purpose of the meeting will be to review the work of the treaty organisation since the inaugural meeting of the council in Bangkok in February, 1955, and to consider future activities.
