SYRIAN-ISRAEL BORDER
U.N. Consideration Of Dispute
(Rec. 8 p.m«) NEW YORK, Jan. 4. Debate in the United Nations Security Council on Syrian-Israeli border trouble was reported today to be marking time while important talks on Middle Eastern affairs took place in London and in Washington. Informed sources at United Nations headquarters said that resumption of the debate on Syria's complaint against Israel for the December 11 attack on the shores of Lake Tiberias would probably be delayed until the middle of next week.
Syria has demanded that Israel be expelled from the United Nations because of the attack, and has proposed that member countries should irppose economic sanctions against Israeli
