REVENUE FOR YEAR £37,918
(New Zealand Press Association) , AUCKLAND, January 5. The Auckland City Council’s parking meters last year yielded £37,918 (3,033.440 threepences, each of which provides half an hour’s parking). There are 1032 meters in the inner area of Auckland.
The average weekly takings over the year were about £B2O. The last batch of 110 meters was installed three months ago.
