JOHNNY GILBERT WINS MAIN RACE (New Zealand Press Association) WESTPORT, December 26. The Westport Trotting Club opened its summer meeting at Patterson Park today in fine weather before a good crowd. The track was fast. The totalisator handled £22,809, compared with £22,565 10s for the first day last year. The double, Spot-light-Billy Galindo, returned £49 19s 6d for £l.
