N.Z. BORN LAWYER DIES IN LONDON
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, November 7. The death has occurred at Bournemouth, at the age of 87, of Mr C. J. Wray, formerly of Wanganui. Mr Wray, one of the best known New Zealanders in London, arrived here in the early 1920’s and went into legal practice in partnership with Mr M. Maurice Smith, who is at present on his way to New Zealand. One of the founders of the New Zealand Lodge in London, Mr Wray had been living in retirement in Bournemouth.
