(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. October 21. ' The National Roads Board, for the second time in six weeks, held a meeting in committee today. Its doors were closed to the press in the morning, but reopened for the afternoon session. The chairman, the Minister of Work! ‘Mr W. S. Goosman) declined afterwards to disclose the nature of the business discussed beyond saying concerned matters of general policyHe said policy matters had also been discussed at the meeting, which wj s held in committee last month. He could not reveal their nature. Asked if this meart that the board was acting in the light of policy deci- ! sions which it did not intend to an--j nounce, the Minister said the board I was young and had to consider ques- ; tions of policy as it went along. “When we come to the final decisions we will announce them.” he said.
