NEW APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCED Mr A. G. Rodda, Wellington, ii succeed Mr D. A. Hunn as assist! Public Service Commissioner, Au land, the Public Service Commas has announced. Mr Hunn was ree ly appointed deputy-Director Gen (Administrative) of the Health partment. Mr Rodda, aged 44, joined the land Revenue Department in 192 a cadet, qualified as a professional countant, and holds the Diplonn Public Administration. In 1941 Mr Rodda was seconde the housing construction branch of State Advances Corporation as act accountant. In 1942 he was seconded to the Department as assistant director of counts, and in 1944 he was appoi rural economist to the Agricull Department. Two years later he appointed inspector in the Public vice Commission and was tranrfe to Christchurch as Public Se Commission representative in IM In 1951 he returned to Wellin to take up his present position at spector in the commission’s oflfit
