MR W. G. V. FERNIE NEW PRESIDENT Mr W. G. V. Fernie has been elected president of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce. This was announced at the annual meeting of the chamber yesterday. His was the only nomination for the presidency. Mr J. J. B. Connor was elected vicepresident. Five new members were elected to
