£10,000 BEQUEST TO CHURCH

BUILDING FUND FOR ST. STEPHEN’S, BRYNDWR A bequest of £lO,OOO has been made to St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, Bryndwr, by the late Mrs M. A. McCully. As a member of the original board of managers, Mrs McCully took a keen interest in the church. During the two years preceding her death she was unable to attend services because of ill-health, but at the first meeting of the board of managers after the parish became independent in 1953, she was made an honorary member. The bequest, which stipulates that the money be used for buildings, will be devoted to the new church and other buildings that will be needed in the parish.
