Palmerston \orth and Epxton He was officer m charge at Man?onui before being promoted sergeant at Auckland, where he was stationed from 1938 to 1943. He was then stationed in turn at Gisborne and Wairoa before being promoted io senior-sergeant at Napier in He was transferred to Petone. and after being there for two years oe was ororroted to sub-inspector at the Wellington Central Police Station -n 1951 In 1953 he was promoted to inspector and transferred to Christchurch. Inspector Miller has a son. Constable W J Miller, stationed at Wellington.
