Youth Charged After Boy Shot

LONDON, October 18. A 17-year-old youth who fired a pistol on the stage during a church hall play, and acidentally shot a small boy in the audience, pleaded guilty in London today to having stolen the pistol. Police said the youth, James Wilde, who worked for a firm of gun dealers, hired a small stage pistol for the show. But Wilde actually took an automatic he had allegedly stolen on to the stage with him last Saturday in the church hall at Beckenham, Kent.
