Reply After Nine Months
On December 1 last year the Electrical Supply Authorities’ Association, in a deputation to the Minister in charge of the State Hydro-electric Department (Mr W. S. Goosman) asked a number of policy questions. The Auckland Electric-Power Board received the Minister’s replies this week. His letter was dated August 22. “It seems the wheels of Government are slowing up,” commented the chairman (Mr J. A. Steele). “This is not good. We need to know what is happening to proposals we put forward.”
