Waiouru, during the week-end of September 10 and 11 The aim of the conference is to keep the more senior officers of the corps up to date in tactical doctrine and the organisation and equipment of the corps and in modern training methods. Lectures, discussions, and indoor exercises will make up the confer?Ti? ne ovtdoor demonstration will be held. The subjects of discussion will be those in which the implications of atomic, bacteriological, and chemical warfare should be clearly defined and understood, and in which there hav® been or are likely to be changes of organisation, equipment, and technical procedure. The conference will also be attended by the Chief of the General Staff (Major-General C. E. Weir), the Quar-termastei-General (Brigadier T, W Thornton), the United States Military Attache (Colonel Julian G. Hearne), the Australian defence representative (Colonel J. S. Bleechmore). the head of the United Kingdom liaison staff (Colonel E. H. Tinker), and the commanding officers of all artillery regiments.
