CONSTABLE CHARGED WITH THEFT
REMANDED TILL AUI-UST 18 (New Zratond Brass AModoiton) NEW PLYMOUTH, August 12. Allan David Seaton, a police constable stationed at Tbumaninul, was remanded until August IS when he appeared before Mr B. O. Gamby, JT., to the Magistrate’s Court at Taumarunul today on two charge* of theft Seaton was charged with stealing a portable typewriter, valued at £25, on August B, and with stealing a U-horse-pmver electric motor, valued at £lB Bail was granted to accused’s own recognisance of £5O, with one surety of £W. A request for suppression of Seaton's name was refused.
