CANTERBURY PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP The Canterbury provincial billiards championship is now in its concluding stages. Results were:— Second Round.—Simons 400 (35, 44, 55 unfinished, 63). Maloney 215; Watson 400 (33), Munro 285 ( 42); Cormack 400 (60), Kelly 305; Higgins 400 ( 3Z„ 32, 36), Cook Round.—Prince 400, Blackburn; 346; Simons 400 ( 35, 47 . 57), Watson 255; Higgins (P.) 400, Cormack (T.) 335; Yesberg (R.) won by default The nemi-finals will be played on Monday between Simons and Yesburg at the A.A.C. and Higgins and Prine* at th* R.S.A. Th* final will be held on Tuesday at th* W.M.C.
