SEASONAL GROWTH OF PASTURES
MAINTENANCE OF HIGH PRODUCTION Seasonality of pasture is its most natural but its greatest fault. If pastures were available throughout the year, it would prove the ideal economic basis for production. However, there are periods of the year where grass is abundant and periods when it is scarce, so that if regular stocking is maintained there must be times when stock are underfed, with consequential effect on production of wool, lambs or mutton. At these times “Peerless” Sheep Nuts, with Urea, have proved invaluable. “Peerless” provides just those extra nutrients required to maintain high production, at the time they are needed most. “Peerless” Sheep Nuts are available from merchants everywhere and made by Animal Nutrition Division, D. H. Brown and Son, Ltd., Christchurch. *-Advt.
