Forecast:— -Nelson and Marlborough, except the Kaikoura coast.—Fresh to strong north-westerly winds: showery weather in the morning and again at Bight; mainly cloudy in the afterBoon; moderate temperatures; outlook, some showers. West Coast.—Fresh winds from a northerly quarter; weather cloudy at £tst, bet showery conditions developing during the morning and persisting for most of the day; cool to moderate temperatures; outlook, Showery periods. Kaikoura Coast and Canterbury Moderate to fresh nortb-westerlv winds predominating; showers about the Alps; apart from some brief showers during the afternoon, weather elsewhere mainly fair, with moderate to mild temperatures; outlook, mainly fair. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER Alter a frost ot 1.1 degrees, the dev in Qmstchurch yesterday was fine, with a vary light north-west wind and a maximum temperature of 59.2 degrees.
