Rakosi Seeks Better Relations (Rec. 8.30 p.m.) VIENNA. August 8. Mr Matyas Rakosi, the First Secretary of the Hungarian Communist Party, today assured Marshal Tito of Jugoslavia that Hungary would do everything to improve relations between the two countries. He was speaking at a mass rally at Czepel, near Budapest His speech was broadcast over the Budapest Radio. Mr Rakosi put the full blame for the bad relations between the two countries in the last seven years on Peter Gabor, a former State Security Minister, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1953. Mr Rakosi said the Hungarian Communist Party and Government welcomed the results of the Big Four Summit Geneva Conference in July. The Hungarian people warmly welcomed the end of the cold war, Mr Rakosi said.
