RICCARTON RACECOURSE CLUB Winners of the 1954-55 club competitions were announced at the annual meeting of the Riccarton Racecourse Bowling Club. They were:—
Champion singles, W. H. Davis; champion pairs, N. Blakeway and J. Crawford (s); champion rinks,’ A. Cooper, C. Butler, E. Seaward, and T. Round (s); champion colt, G. Carpenter; Best cup, C. Townsend; Clifford buttons, J. Mpore, J. Telfer (s); president’s rinks, J. Crammond, N. Spiers, H.. Jones, A. Blakemore (s). Officers elected were:—
President, Mr J. Crawford; vice-presi-dent, Mr C. Butler; management committee, Messrs P. Berry, A. Cooper, G. Dawkins, J. Kenworthy, G. Mattinson J. Telfer, and A. Cutts; treasurer, Mr F. Bell; secretary, Mr H. Daniel; auditor, Mr L. Byers; match committee, Messrs J. Kenworthy. C. Butler, and A. Cooper; green superintendent, Mr N. Blakeway; greenkeeper. Mr J. de Rungs.
